How relaxing it is walking through local markets. They are so brimming with scents and colours: local fruit, vegatables, olive oil, honey, jam, cheese, spices, flowers, wine, soaps, everything you could wish for.

Colours of the countryside

Plenty to enjoy in the countryside. The view throughout the Luberon is constantly changing, and always enjoyable.

In each season, nature coats the fields in joyful colour:

  • Cherry and almond blossom trees in March
  • Wild poppy fields in late May
  • Lavander fields in late June
  • Sunflower fields in July
  • Autumn leaves in October.

    Many different tours are possible (duration of tours from 4 hours, 250 euros, to 8 hours, 380 euros).

    Dany Shute is French by birth, with British nationality since 1979, and lived in England for many years, and speaks in English at home for the past 40 years. I trained originally as a music teacher. I gave evening, and day; classes in England, teaching French to adults, children), and music. Now, I give English lessons, music lessons, introduction to oil painting (indoors or out).
